Strategic Partnerships

Depomed utilizes an aggressive partnering strategy to support its effort to build a portfolio of enhanced pharmaceutical products for large patient populations. The company’s partnering strategy is comprised of two key components –

  • Out-license internally developed drugs to commercialization partners worldwide, while retaining rights to market products on its own to select market segments should it elect to do so;
  • Collaborate with companies looking to utilize AcuForm™ delivery technology to enhance their own pharmaceutical products and possibly extend the product’s lifecycle.
